Warranties

For all new Pyor boats a two-year warranty is included, which covers faulty components, paintwork and rust caused by manufacturing defects. Batteries are also covered.

 We offer warranty on all products purchased from us subject to the terms and details set as below.

Pyor warranty
Pyor guarantees you as a customer a warranty on all pyor products that covers defects in manufacturing and materials for a period of (24) months from the original date of purchase. Our warranty only applies to products purchased from this website, at a Pyor store or from one of our authorized dealers. Pyor offers repair or replacement of your product free of charge under Pyor's warranty terms. Please note that the warranty offered by Pyor does not in any way limit or replace your right of complaint under the applicable consumer law.

Spare parts warranty: We offer a (12) month warranty on parts purchased from us from the date of purchase. The warranty applies to "non-factory installed" Pyor original parts.

Limitations of the Pyor warranty (what is not covered)
Pyors warranty does not cover faults and damages caused by:
(a) Defects and damage caused by loss, theft, fire or if there is evidence that the damage may have been caused by accident.
(b) Defects unscathed by unwarranted or insufficient repair.
(c) Usual routine maintenance and cleaning
(d) Improper use that does not comply with instructions or unjustified repair or modification.
(e) Handling that does not comply with the care advice and instructions that appear in the usage and service instructions for your particular product.
(f) Aesthetic changes, defects and damage due to normal wear and tear (minor scratches, leather wear and peeling paint, etc.).
(g) Damages in connection with repairs, service or changes arising from a service point other than Pyor's recommended one.
(h) The warranty does not apply if the CIN number engraved on the stern of the boat is missing, deleted or destroyed or made illegible.
(i) The warranty does not apply if the CE plate on the boat is missing, deleted or destroyed or made illegible.
(j) The warranty does not apply to engine, trim plane, compass, navigation equipment or other additional equipment that does not come from Pyor.

What we do in the event of a warranty claim
If you wish to make use of the guarantee valid during the period, Pyor will, at its own discretion: (a) Repair the item with new or with parts that have been used in the past but are new in performance and reliability. (b) Exchange the product for a new product or for an equivalent product (with the consent of you as a customer). (c) Make price reductions on existing goods. (d) Take back the item and refund the money.

You will not be charged for the repair, replacement, shipping or return shipping or handling if your warranty claim is within this Pyor warranty. If your warranty case is not possible, invalid or denied, we will notify you as soon as possible and you can decide how you want to proceed, eg repair, exchange or have the item returned to you. In the case of a warranty case that you are not possible, invalid or denied, and which the customer chooses to proceed with, may entail costs for the repair, replacement, shipping and return shipping and handling.

How to use the warranty?
If you would like to submit a claim for a warranty issue during the period, please contact us using our standard form via www.pyorboats.com. You will then receive more information about our warranty service under this Pyor warranty. In addition, you will then have the opportunity to describe what type of claim you want to make, and the proof of purchase that you received at the time of purchase will be sent us. We may also need a duly completed, dated, stamped and signed service protocol for the product. If the product needs to be returned, you will receive more information on how to avoid further damage.
